Your club or class can have its website hosted at Sailoz! Our rates are designed to be affordable for sailing clubs and classes. We know that these organisations run on a very limited budget.

Some clubs and classes have websites hosted by a member's ISP. Free websites like those do not have compact neat addresses. But much worse, the site disappears if the member leaves the club, gets a new ISP, loses interest or is moved interstate with business or family. This forces clubs to rebuild their websites somewhere else. The address changes. Members lose touch. Potential new members can't find the site. For a while even Google and Yahoo would lose your club too. Links to your site from directories such as Sailoz, AYF and other Sailing directories would all have to be updated, a long winded process.

The ideal solution to these problems is to get your own permanent domain name and get it hosted by a commercial hosting service. But that solution is expensive, much more than many sailing classes and clubs can afford.

This is why I am offering a much cheaper alternative through Sailoz.net to any Australian class or sailing club. Your class or club can get the following, all at prices that are a fraction of the commercial cost:

Fees

Fees are calculated on a cost-recovery basis only. I am donating professional time to this project at no cost to users.

I have been able to reduce fees from July 2005 due to a change in hosting expenses. I am passing these savings on to site members. The rates are now $50 per year.
